First Industrial Promotes Jim Schlundt to Regional Manager/Market Leader for Its Minneapolis Region

First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: FR), a leading fully integrated owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, today announced that Jim Schlundt has been promoted to regional manager/market leader for its Minneapolis Region. Mr. Schlundt will be responsible for managing the Company’s portfolio, operations and business relationships in the Twin Cities.

“Jim has been a leader and the consummate team player at First Industrial during his 12 years with the Company, contributing to our success in Minneapolis and several development projects,” said Peter Schultz, executive vice president for First Industrial. “Jim’s knowledge of the Minneapolis market, our portfolio, and our customers, combined with his broker and supplier relationships, will serve him well in his new role.”

Mr. Schlundt is assuming leadership of the Minneapolis region from Chris Willson, a 20-year member of the First Industrial team. Mr. Willson is relocating to South Florida to lead First Industrial’s efforts in that region.

Mr. Schlundt is a 26-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry. He earned his BS in economics and finance from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of NAIOP and MNCAR and holds CCIM and RPA designations.
